Gould's


Have you been to Gould's Books in Newtown?  It's an experience.  2 storeys of shelf after shelf of second-hand books piled up.  How anyone finds anything they want I do not know.

Yeah, it's a crazy place. You go in there and it's daytime, then when you walk out, somehow it is now dark, and the streets are deserted.

My biggest issue is the dust and grime you get on your fingers whilst perusing. Then you itch your eye, and it gets irritated and red. And you keep rubbing it. And then you can't focus on the books because of your sore eye.

haha, and your lungs get irritated and there are scary looking people in there too.
